2006: Lauren Matthews founded White Orchid Interiors in Denver, Colorado
Like many great businesses, White Orchid Interiors started in a garage. Lauren recognized a demand for high quality home staging services and began accumulating inventory to furnish and stage vacant homes. She completed just two projects in year one and stored the product in her garage. Over the next several years, the business expanded to include a staging team, delivery trucks, a 5,000 square foot warehouse and inventory to serve over 50 luxury homes at any point in time.
During the early years, Lauren’s husband, John worked for RE/MAX Headquarters on a team that managed the real estate offices personally owned by RE/MAX Founder, Dave Liniger. The collaboration between Lauren and John and their unique expertise in home staging and real estate business development helped advance White Orchid Interiors as a leader for home staging in Colorado. The best was yet to come.
2013: White Orchid Interiors expanded to Newport Beach, California
Lauren and John sold their Colorado home and moved with their three-year-old son to Southern California. They had a capable home staging team in place to manage the Colorado business and set out to accomplish what no other home staging company has accomplished … open a second location over 1,000 miles away.
This achievement was based on the foundational principles and best practices that were established by Lauren and John in Colorado. White Orchid Interiors has now staged over $1 Billion in real estate and has helped thousands of real estate agents and homeowners in every interior design style and price point. Each year the California and Colorado teams furnish and stage more than $250 Million in real estate. And through our experience, we have learned that, more than ever before, the world of real estate and the business of home staging transcend locations.
2014: White Orchid Interiors Built a National Network of Certified Stagers
Real estate investors in one part of the country are buying and selling homes in another part of the country.
